D-Type Project

This package consists of an accurate front frame based on the original but adapted to carry E type front suspension, steering, engine and gearbox. Unlike most replicas it cants the engine over at 8.5 degrees like the original.

It was TIG welded by a professional racing car fabricator. It has E type polybushes and comes with upper and lower pivot shafts and spacers. The upper is eccentric as per the original to adjust camber angles. It takes E type torsion bars, upper and lower wishbones and steering rack. The torsion bars and wishbones are not included but the steering arms and torsion bar anchorages are. There is a radiator mounting frame and a special oil cooler.
