1964 Ferrari GTO

We are proud to offer this stunning recreation of the 1964 model Ferrari GTO which has raced at The Goodwood Revival and in the Targa Florio and has been driven by Roger Clark, David Piper, Jack Sears, and Peter Hardman, among others. It has FIVA papers and is eligible for FIA (HTP) papers and has participated in events in Cape Town, Phillip Island, Australia and various Ferrari Formula Classic races in the UK.

Based on a 1962 250 GTE this car was completely dismantled in 1990 before being rebuilt over the next two years to 1964 250 GTO specificiation by leading Ferrari  specialist Terry Hoyle. the work included uprating the engine to 250 GTO spec, fitting a new 5-speed 250 GTO gear box and necessary chassis adjustments, while a new alloy body was created by renowned coachbuilder Rod Jolley . Only the carburettors differ from the original. The car is road registered and so can be used for a variety of rallies, tours, track and race events, or just enjoyed as a remarkable recreation of this rare and desirable GTO.
