1938 Jaguar SS100 3.5 Litre Recreation
Built on a genuine SS1 chassis - cut down by 15 inches - exactly as were the original cars, and using genuine SS components, including the highly desirable 3.5 litre engine and gearbox, this all-alloy bodied recreation is indistinguishable from the real thing. It is absolutely correct in every detail and was painstakingly built from a large collection of parts amassed by its perfectionist owner over a number of years. Among the many genuine SS components are the following significant items: 3.5 litre overhead valve engine and gearbox; suspension, with correct outer laced wheels and original spinners; instruments, dashboard and steering wheel, QK headlights and rear owls eye tail lights. With less than 700 miles on the clock since its completion the car is mint condition, in Gunmetal grey and claret leather.
