Dave Brown is founder of Classic Car Developments (CCD) of New Zealand, and a well-known name in Jaguar circles, here and abroad. For over a decade he has been building "tool room" copies of the Jaguar C-Types and D-Types, and supplying top restorers both in the US and UK with newly engineered parts for original cars.
Working from Malcolm Sayer's original factory drawings, Dave Brown's cars are absolutely correct, and in this respect he follows in the footsteps of that most highly respected builder of C-Types, Peter Jaye, who built 12 cars in the early 80s. We currently have both a Dave Brown and Peter Jaye C-Type in stock (see cars 'for sale'). All CCD cars come complete with FIA (HTP) papers.
