This is a recreation of the iconic race car that Shelby & Co. built in 1964 to beat Ferrari's all conquering 250 GTO, and they succeeded! Of the six original cars built all are either in museums or private hands and conservatively valued at £3-6 million. This is en exact copy of the original car taken from the original drawings, built according to appendix K for Historic Racing cars, and eligible for FIA HTP. Same suspension, same type of Girling Race brake calipers etc. There is also included a complete but not yet assembled race engine, Weber 48 IDA carbs, the right gearbox, driveshafts, diff etc.
